Environmentally compatible, recyclable, and safe for handling. - **Irreversible System Architecture** Unlike conventional redox flow batteries, nanoFlowcell® systems are not electrically rechargeable. Instead, spent electrolytes are replaced with fresh bi-ION®, allowing rapid energy replenishment without external charging infrastructure. - **Operating Principle** Two independent tanks store bi-ION® electrolytes with opposite charges. These are pumped through a membrane-based converter where redox reactions generate electric current.
